Mugs
Here we have a selection of Mugs that are all hand decorated at my home in Cornwall. I design the artwork (with the exception of a couple of patterns), then it is printed as a decal to be applied to the china. It is fired to a high temperature making these hardy and dishwasher safe. All my bone china is sourced within the UK, and much of it comes from potteries such as Wedgwood/ Royal Doulton.
BONE CHINA
Originally introduced to complement the artwork at the Rock Summer Exhibition the collection of decorated Bone China has expanded each year. What started as a small idea has taken on a life of its own!
Whether you are looking for a signature piece like a large platter, tureen or bowl or for something smaller, there is a good choice available. Particularly popular are the pretty ‘Palace’ mugs (so called because they were originally designed for the Buckingham Palace gift shop!) Just the right size for a demi-tasse or your coffee machine.

Danka paints the original artwork which is then printed as a ceramic decal (waterslide transfer) She then applies these to the china before firing to a high temperature to make it durable and dishwasher proof.
The Bone China pieces that Danka decorates are sourced in Stoke-on-Trent. The larger pieces are mostly Wedgwood/Royal Doulton and the smaller pieces are made by other Stoke Potteries.
The overall quality of the china is excellent, making it very pleasing to use. The designs are mostly blue/white fish and shellfish plus the ‘Mussels’ range. Very occasionally some carefully selected decals are bought in to complement her own designs.
